Dear SIOP Asia Members, I am writing to share an important personal update and transition for our region. I would like to formally announce that I will be stepping down early from my role as SIOP Asia President to focus on my candidacy for Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO).
The Asian Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Group (APHOG) and SIOP Asia invite you to the 6th APHOG & SIOP Asia Joint Scientific Symposium. This year's online session is about germ cell tumours in children and adolescents. Experts from across the region will share real-world experience and discuss de-escalation, stem cell transplantation and treatment for relapsed and refractory disease.
SIOP welcomes Dr. Kirill Kirgizov as the new Co-Chair of the Supportive Care Network for the 2026-2029 term.
The SIOP Survivorship Network is looking for one new Steering Group Member for a three-year term. Self-nominations close on November 30, 2026.
SIOP Africa is pleased to open the Call for Nominations for the position of Treasurer. Self‑nominations are also welcome.
